Well we will be 32 weeks on Christmas. I just got back from my peri appointment and everything is still looking good. All the babies passed their biophysical profile, BP still good, and the contractions are still spread out and about 5-6 a day. I am still nervous about the C-section (mostly the epidural/spinal) but I suppose that will continue until the big day.
We did talk about my goal of 36 weeks (it has been my goal from the begining). They seemed to think I have a chance of making it there (but you never know what will happen from day to day). They also said they will let me go as far as the babies and my body could... so they would let me go past 36 weeks. I have heard a lot of people say their docs won't do that and am curious if anyones doc has said that they could?
Also, thank you to everyone here. You all have been such a great support and fun to chat with.

Re: Almost 32 weeks...
mine wanted me to get to 34, i wanted to get to 36, but i know he would have let me go further (though i probably would have put my foot down at 36). i know he had a patient who went to 37.
but, things can change in an instant. even though i never had any contractions or anything, i developed pre-e pretty quickly and delivered at 33w2d. so you never know!

My blog * We made the national news!
I know we have been super lucky up to this point and it could change in an instant. That thought is always in the back of my mind but I just keep trying to stay positive. Although 36 weeks is my long term goal, I have counted through several shorter goals throughout the pregnancy... such as : 12 week (less likely to miscarry) , 24 weeks (viability), 29 weeks (better change of survival), and now 32 weeks (average triplet delivery time).
Those who delivered around this time: did it (whatever caused you to deliver) develop quickly without warning, or did you have time to to try and stop/ correct it?

Congrat for getting this far! 32 weeks our long term goal, and our Dr. said if it gets to the point where we pick when we have them he would not go past 34 weeks. So what your Dr.'s saying sounds right for triplets.
My MFM's goal is to get me to 35 weeks. My personal goal is 36 weeks. My MFM will let me go up to 38 weeks if my body will let me though.
oops, just realized that you are expecting triplets, so I guess my twin goals don't apply at all. Sorry (the bump won't let me delete my response).
Congratulations for making it to 32 weeks!!!
