Help - Razor Burn!

So I try to manicure "down there" as much as I can. It's difficult, but I'm trying! Anyway, pre-pregnancy I never had any issue with razor burn. Now, I guess my skin is extra sensitive, so I'm getting bad razor burn and it's very itchy! I'm using sensitive shaving cream, but it's not working.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help with the razor burn? I'm thinking of just giving up and letting it all grow in!

  • Umm, the last thing you said.

  • I'm just keeping it trimmed with an electric trimmer. No way I want razor burn/itching on top of all the other uncomfortableness of pregnancy.

  • Same thing happened to me.

I have decided that I will only shave my legs since people will be holding onto them.

Other than that, I will be a hairy beast. I guess I would rather have fur than burn...

  • I'm having the same problem! Never had razor burn before but now everytime I shave I get it like crazy! I'm just going to start keeping it trimmed with an electric trimmer also b/c I don't wanna have to deal with it either.

This is my plan!  I only have 2-3 weeks to go though.

  • I can't for the life of me remember the name of the stuff but the sex shop sells a lotion you can put on after you shave that takes care of razor burn.  It really works.  Maybe you could try that.

Is it called Coochy? If so, that stuff works amazing!

Exactly and I'm so big right now, can't even do that really good. I figure the doctors could care less, and who else is going to see it at this point?

This stuff really is great!  When I shaved I got really bad razor burn and this is the only thing that would work.  Now I wax and have no bumps (or fear of cutting off my girly bits because I can't see a thing!)

That's my concern - I can't see anything down there - I guess I could use a mirror - hmmmm.  Do you wax or get someone else to do it?
