Apparently I've been having BH?

in 3rd Trimester

I was talking to my sister today and was describing these annoying cramps I've been having.

I always thought BH made your WHOLE tummy tighten and release...mine I only feel really low (below my belly button) and sometimes they're very sharp- sometimes feel more like period cramps.

Do these sound like BH?

    I think so yet i dont really know either!

    How long are they supposed to last? Mine only last a few secs...

    Mine last about 30 seconds or so.

    When I have BH, only my lower abdomen tightens..but it tightens all the way across. The only time I've ever had tightening above my belly button/waist line was after having had like, a billion BH in the same day... It was odd.

    Yeah, mine feel a lot like period cramps sometimes too.

    I get the period like cramps but w/out the tightening.  I guess those would probably be considered BH too?  No clue but they go away eventually, so that's what I call them; otherwise, what is that all about?

    My whole stomach gets rock hard with BH, everyone's different though.

    I have been having BH for over a month now..I have had both kinds of cramps that have been described..the all over ones with a tightening of the stomach and the period like cramps..basically doc said they are both bh..they last from a couple seconds to a over a minute..they will come in waves or just once an hour..but i have also seen on here where other docs have said that not all of them are bh..i would bring it up to your doc and see what they have to say

    Mine come above my belly button - but everyone is different.

    Make sure you keep count! More than 4 an hour = call!
