  • We sort of are.  We'll see DH's parents for Christmas Eve. lunch and my grandparents/aunts/cousins Christmas day for brunch.  Normally we'd go out of town to be with my family, so this is a big switch for us!

ETA: Not sure what we're having for dinner but I'm in charge!  Maybe a baked ziti?  Nothing too hard that's for sure!

  • just us too. we dont know anyone in this whole state.

xmas eve we are doing ham/mashed potatoes/ green bean casserole and wine.

xmas morning is eggs w/ leftover ham/ bread/ mimosas

xmas dinner we are having lasagna an bread w/ wine

yumm yumm. just went grocery shopping too!! gonna make a bunch of cookies then stuff my fat face. lol

  • We'll be with my Uncle, Aunt, cousins and my Uncle's parents - but our parents, siblings, grandparents, nieces & nephews all live out of state.

My parents are coming up for New Years though.

  • We always do Christmas with just our immediate family (just the 4 of us). Our tradition is to go out for a nice dinner downtown on Christmas Eve, then drive around to look at the lights before we go home and tuck the kiddies into bed and start wrapping/drinking  wine. Christmas Day we have a no-cooking policy after breakfast (we make eggs and bacon). For the rest of the day we eat Trader Joes appetizers and other Christmas goodies while we watch Christmas movies and play with new toys. It's amazing. I'm totally looking forward to it!!

  • Us, too! We're going to friends for dinner. I'm so excited to be in MY house on Christmas morning. Can't wait!!

  • Just us this year like every year since 2005.  We are in Germany and do not go back to the US for the holidays.  The 2 years my husband was deployed me and the kids spent the day with friends after opening gifts and having a big breakfast.  We don't even know what we will be cooking this year lol.  We are preparing our house since it all gets packed up Jan 4 and we are leaving for 4 days a few days after Christmas.
