3rd Trimester

a little tidbit of friendly into...

If you don't already have a ton of receiving blankets, I suggest looking for some that are larger than the standard 30x30 inches...

LO will grow out of it quick and then they are pretty much useless, except for covering them up in the carseat.

Carter's makes some that come in packs of four called "wrap me up" and the are 30x40.  This really does make a world of difference and makes swaddling LO so much easier.

Also, if you don't have any of the muslin Aden + Anais swaddling blankets from Target, get some.  They are awesome for many things.. and are great for a nursing cover up, and even covering the car seat or stroller to protect from the elements.

  • as much as i love my aden & anais blankets for everything, they suck for swaddling.  at least for us.  i like those stretchy waffle knit ones from BRU.  and now i roll them up and let DD use them as a pillow if she wants.
