Pregnant after a Loss

I'm a little jealous... weather related

I want a white Christmas!!! Not gonna get one though Sad

I lived in MN till I was 10, and we went back every single Christmas till I was like 23 or something. I've only had AT MOST 5 non-white Christmases in my life... it just doesn't seem like it's really Christmas without all the snow.

  • I want one too! I've never had one ever! The forecast calls for 60 and sunny. Sad

  • I feel your pain.  I grew up in PA and northern NJ but moved to New York in 2002.  I had a White Christmas almost every one til i was 21.  Since I don't live upstate this is the first time in 7 years that we have had snow and we had a blizzard.  If I could I would box up some and send it your way.

  • I'm torn between wishing I was having a white Christmas and just enjoying the sunny, 72 degree weather that I'm having. It's beautiful outside, but it sure doesn't feel like Christmas!
  • I may have to cut into maternity vacation leave to take off tomorrow if i can't get up my street!

    snow is overrated!?

  • I had a White Christmas every year from birth until 25.  Then I moved to Florida in order to persue my career with the cruise line.  Now, even though I retired (sounds so funny) from the cruise industry, I still have to live here in Florida because after over 12 years of being in the Caribbean, with the warm weather and sunny skies year 'round, there is just no way I could ever go back to having cold harsh winter.  I can visit it for a day or two, but doubt I will ever live somewhere again that has to deal with such cold temps and poor driving conditions.  I loved it as a child, but not anymore.  Besides, DH's parents live in Croatia, so we can always go visit if we want to get a taste of winter and if we want our child/children to have some fun :)
