Last night I had a gush of very red blood and we rushed to the hospital. Contractions started pretty quickly and I was 80% effaced, a fingertip dilated and Baby A was in -1 position already.
They
quickly gave me the first round of steroids and hooked me up to the
magnesium sulfate. They were able to stop labor for now but I am still
bleeding a lot. They suspect it is from my cervix. I am here until I
deliver.
The babies look good, have good strong heartbeats. We've already spoken with the neonatalogist here about what to expect if the babies come and I am still not being given anything to eat in case they need to do a c-section today.
The past 12 hrs have been a nightmare and I hope that the worst is behind us. Please keep my babies in your thoughts and send any 'stay put' vibes our way:) Short-term goal is three weeks, but we will take any amount time we get.
