Do you still use a changing table?

I do still use mine but I can think of so many other things we could do with that space like put up a book case or toy shelves or something. If you do not use one where do you change your lo that makes it easy on you? Not to mention she is as long as the table. TIA!!

We never bought a changing table, but instead just put the pad on top of her dresser. We definitely still use it... whenever I try to change her on the floor, she crawls away!

We definitely still use it but I am currently prego and we plan on moving the changing pad into the babies room once he is born. We will probably use the bed or floor...not sure yet.

I only use the changing pad when we're in his room. C is as long as the changing pad, too. Otherwise, I use the floor when we're downstairs. As soon as #2 is born, the changing pad is going in his / her room.

We still use the changing table, only when we are in her room though. I just put her on the floor and change her.

I was actually gonna ask this and glad it was posted. I just wrestled DS to change his diaper and then dressed him on the floor. I still use the changing table for all his diaper changed when we are home and then to get him dressed. I was just curious if I was the only one still using one.

I don't have a changing table. Never did. Ben has great built-ins in his room. We have a changing pad on the top of the built-in that sits there and has always stayed in place (doesn't slide). We change him on that.

Oh, and yes, we still use it for the majority of his diaper changes. Although I will sometimes change a wet diaper on the floor in the living room or on the couch if I don't feel like going upstairs to his room.

I still use it. DS1 won't stay still if I try to change him on the floor, plus I don't want to lug everything out and keep it out to do it on the floor. It isn't a big deal to take him downstairs if I need to. We bought a changing pad for DS2 so there is actually a changing pad upstairs now. I have some of DS1's diapers in DS2's room so I can change him there since we are upstairs the majority of the time.

We never had a changing table. We use whatever surface is available - couch, bed, floor, etc.

We still do for every diaper change. We have all tile/wood floors so changing on the floor is not an option. She is getting too long for it though so our next house (we move end of March) better have lots of carpet!

this, I think DS thinks floor= play and changing table = change

He always gets mad and tries to get away when I try to change him on the floor but when I take him to the changing table (all the way upstairs in his room) Surprise he is calm enough to change him .

We never got a changing table, just put the changing pad on top of her dresser. But around 8mos. we took it off and started changing her and dressing her in the floor. That was when we started having to wrestle her down to get her diaper changed, and it was just much easier to do it on the floor where I didn't have to worry about her twisting off and falling.

We did until my son flipped off of it. I had his leg, but he still face planted on the hard wood floor. We have a little stool we sit on and have the changing pad on the ground.
