Did they let you keep your contact lenses in? I've talked to some who said they were allowed to keep them in. They made me take mine out which I did not like. I know the point is in case they need to put you under general anesthesia emergently...but still. I'm tempted to lie this time and say I'm not wearing any.

Re: Random question for those who have had c/s
Yeah, they let me wear my glasses but I hate them and I just find them annoying. I'd rather wear my contacts!
#1 was sort of emergency and they asked me to take them out.
#2 was planned and they told me to not wear them.
It is obvious to see if someone is wearing them so lying is not a great idea.
Yes, I wore my contacts for both c/s. They never even asked if I was wearing them.
In fact, I ran it by my ob when another nestie gave me her list of things she wasn't allowed (make-up, deoderant, contacts) and my ob just laughed.

Seriously? Who would tell a mom not to wear deodorant to a c/s?
That's true, I didn't really think of that. I forgot it's easy to tell. I'll just ask my doc to let me keep them in I guess.
She finally agreed!
I know, right? I've never heard of it outside of the one post from a nestie friend.
