I thought this would be a fun post to share and we could also get ideas for new fun traditions

Mine are as follows,
1) DH said last year he'd love to dress up as Santa so one of his gifts was his own Santa suit

He LOVED it and he'll be dressing up every Christmas morning as Santa and also for both sides of the family because we have 16 nieces & nephews (DH's idea, he loves wearing that thing, lol)
2) Christmas breakfast. I'll be making a huge yummy breakfast for after opening gifts.
Edit: That's DH in my siggy during our first Christmas as a family
Re: What are your TOP two favorite holiday traditions?
1) Opening one gift on Christmas Eve (although that is now Audrey's b-day, so who knows how that will work out for her??)
2) Christmas morning breakfast

decorating the tree. We watch Love Actually and It's a Wonderful Life while we put the tree up.
1) Christmas Eve Dinner with my parents and sister. My Mom will bring iced sugar cookies for Ben to give to Santa and together they will read the night before Christmas. We do Christmas Day with DH's large family.
2) we bought a dwarf potted tree last year for DS's first Christmas. After the Holiday we stored the tree outside. This year we brought the same tree back inside. We plan to use this living tree for as long as it will allow us to.
Riding around drinking hot chocolate and looking at Christmas lights in my pj's on Christmas Eve.
Reading The Night Before Christmas out loud right before bed on Christmas eve.
1) My dad has always read T'was the Night Before Christmas before all the kids headed to bed on Christmas Eve. We started doing it last year with Jack and will continue to do it this year.
2) Homemade waffles for breakfast on Christmas morning.
1. My mom's family Christmas party is always in pajamas. Nice and comfy. (It was today actually)

church with my entire family on christmas eve. When my nephew was little, we started the tradition of taking a piece of straw from the nativity at the church (they encourage the kids to do so) and then we leave a gift for baby jesus (a small donation to the church, wrapped in a box) We started this last year with E, but at 5 months old, he was unimpressed!
breakfast christmas morning before gifts and then spending the day with my family (my own family, my parents, and sister and her family, aunt and 1 cousin) hanging out, playing games, and watching christmas movies
I enjoy our Christmas Eve. It's my husband's tradition, but I really enjoy making it ours. He's Italian, and we do the big seafood meal, combined with the lasagna I've always made on the 24th.
And I love doing St. Nicholas Day. My mom's family is Austrian, so we've always celebrated with shoes out and little presents and a special dinner on Dec. 6.
