I think I'd want to wear a swim skirt, you know, the thing that goes over your bottoms, but doesn't cover anything. We want to have my MIL and my mum in the room during labor, and that'd be weird to not wear anything, water is clear. But then again, I have no intention of doing a water bath, so who knows what I'd really consider.

I will be taking advantage of the tub for sure. When I was laboring at home with DD, if I wasn't pacing the living room, I was in the tub.. it felt sooo good.
If the hospital I delivered at had one, I would have been in it. This time, I will, and I plan to utilize it (not for an actual water birth though) just labor
They have 4 with and 1 without. I guess they use the 4 for women who are "trying" to go med free. I in no way will be doing that so... If it's slow in L&D I may be able to snag one with a whirlpool. I would wear a sports bra or tube top, and be naked down there. It will just be DH and me so I don't really care if I have pants on or not.
I think I agree with the bathing suit top and skirt cover on the bottom. But this is our first so modesty may go out the window. But with our families who knows who will be popping in. !

With DD I was naked and couldn't have cared less and believe me, I am no nudist. I suppose it will be the same for me this time, but I could see packing a bikini top, sports bra or tank top if you are modest.
Re: If your LDR room has a tub...
Probably.. I forgot to ask at the tour. I'll prob just strip down anyway.. all modesty goes right out the window in childbirth for sure.

Nothing. Everyone present will have seen my vagina up close and personal. What's to hide?
