What a crazy day...(L&D...)

I woke up with cramping about 3:30am and contractions started about 8:30 or so. After contracting for 3 hours (6 to 10 minutes apart) I gave them a call to see if they wanted me to stay home or come get checked.

I ended up going in and of course the contractions stopped. However, my blood pressure was really, really high for me. Bloodwork looked good though so they relaxed but I was pretty swollen. They ran my urine and it turns out I have a bladder infection (had no idea).

The NICU at my hospital was full so they said if they admitted me to keep an eye on my until Monday (my c-section day) it would be at another hospital. In the end, they sent me home on strict bedrest until Monday. They will call me Sunday to let me know which hospital to go to. They said the babies need an open NICU to go to since they are being delivered before 37 weeks.

It was a long day - my cold is still raging so that made it all the more fun!

Getting very excited about Monday...
