Ok, there are a lot of newbies here....
1. What part of the Portland area are you in (or not in)?
2. How many LO's do you have and age? Or, are you preggo and how many weeks??

1. We are in the Hillsboro area.
2. We have 1 little guy who is 13 weeks old. And boy has that 13 weeks flown by!
3. I was a preschool teacher for almost 9 years before I became a stay at home mom.
4. I would really like to adopt a baby, but am not sure about popping another one out.
5. My advice... Take deep breaths and ask for help from your friends or family (if you have anyone close) when you are needing a break. That is something I have had to learn.

3. What do you do for work if you work? I'm an accountant for a software company downtown.
4. Are you wanting anymore little one's? We're OK with this one for now.. haven't decided on anymore yet.
5. 1 piece of advice for anyone having a baby, or new mom's? Don't wait until 35 weeks to have your baby shower.. the waiting will KILL YOU...
1. I live close-in Southeast.
2. My girls are 21 months and I have an 11 year old stepson.
3. I work with my family as a Project Coordinator.
4. We're set with the three.
5. Take a shower, take a nap, and get out every day.

1 DD - she will be 11m on Sunday, and I will be 14w on sunday

5. 1 piece of advice for anyone having a baby, or new mom's? Enjoy the early days/weeks, they go by so fast. Take lots of pictures, and always go with your gut instinct.___________________________________________________________________

5. Breastfeed if you can! It's super rewarding. Also, read Babywise! Super helpful for us. Baby girl is sleeping through the night!!!!!!! yayyyy!

1 LO. He is 9 and a half months.
SAHM, but looking for part time work.
We are thinking we want one more...maybe.
Relax and be in the moment. There are so many moments that you will never get back.

None yet... (im)patiently waiting!
3. What do you do for work if you work? I'm a comm tech at St.Charles Hospital. It's ok, but it's a foot in the door.
4. Are you wanting anymore little one's? yeah! lol! We would like at least 2, but maybe more...we'll see. I gotta get #1 first!
5. 1 piece of advice for anyone having a baby, or new mom's? No advice here, but thank you all for the tips above. I wrote them down!
I'm sure I could use ever little piece I can get!

5. Take a break when you can, rest, rest, rest, sleep, sleep, sleep, nap when they nap, and enjoy every second (this is easier to do if you're rested)

About to have our first, due any minute. 39 weeks.
3. What do you do for work if you work? I am an RN. Used to work at Seattle Children's Hospital but I had to quit last week due to our upcoming move. I am very open to any Portland area suggestions for RN jobs as I will be working part time once we get settled.
4. Are you wanting anymore little one's? Just focused on this little girl right now.

Wow someone did catch that. haha. SHHHH it's my "bump people only" secret. I'd put a million dollars on it that I am. But I'm not saying anything to anyone until I know 100%. Even then I'll wait awhile to announce on FB or write about it on twitter or anything so shhh.

2. 33 weeks now, due Feb 8th.
3. Counselor for a non profit serving at-risk youth and homeless/runaway kids.
4. We want 2 or 3...we think! We'll see how one treats us first
5. No big pieces of advice from me. I'm curious to look into the book Tris mentioned above. I also hope I keep my positive atittude over the next month and a half! I don't want to annoy the people around me by being a mad whiner in the end!

5. 1 piece of advice for anyone having a baby, or new mom's? Write everything down! Don't rush them to hit the next milestone, just enjoy everything day by day.

Yes. Hopefully at least one more, if we can figure out how to do this and stay afloat in the current economy!

Well, I would say, cherish each moment you have with your LO. Remember that, through the good AND the bad, this time will pass and you will miss having your LO be small and cuddly. Time goes too quickly!!!
Motherhood is the most exhausting and the most rewarding an amazing thing in the world. Be prepared really feel both ends of that statement.
Also, talk to other moms!!! We are the only ones who know what you are living. LOL!

3 SAHM plus I watch another little guy in my home 3 days/week
4 We went through a lot to get this one. We will stop preventing next summer, and whatever happens happens. Either way, we'll be happy.
5. A few things - cherish all of those early moments, it does get easier, BF gets easier, and don't neglect your marriage.

2. How many LO's do you have and age? Or, are you preggo and how many weeks?? This is our first, I am 13 weeks
3. What do you do for work if you work? I am an attorney
4. Are you wanting anymore little one's? Not sure yet - I would be ok with one, Hubby wants 2 or 3, but I guess we will just wait and see how things go first!
5. 1 piece of advice for anyone having a baby, or new mom's? I don't know yet...other than to say, don't necessarily always believe the myth that it will take a while to conceive after years on the pill - we got pregnant right away (in like 30 days)!
