Were your membranes stripped?

I had mine stripped yesterday and since then lost pieces of the mucus plug and bleeding which Im told is normal. Iv been 3 cm now for 2 weeks and at a standstill. So Im hoping this does something lol also....has anyone else had this done and how did they feel after because since them I'm nonstop cramping. And annoying back pain when I walk.

    I had it done with DS. I was 80% effaced and 4cm dilated since 36 weeks. My MW finally broke my water at 41+ weeks. 

    With DD I did not have it done and I lost my MP at 34 weeks, had DD at almost 36 weeks.

    My membranes were stripped and I lost my MP and cramped a ton right afterward.  Got induced two days later.

    membranes stripped at 39wm had baby at 40w3d...didnt do anythinh for me except some cramping and bleeding

    Mine were stripped at about 39 weeks.  I had a lot of cramping and some spotting for the next couple of days.  I went into labor about 10 days later.  I do know people who have gone into labor within the next couple of days... so it seems hit or miss!

    Thanks for all the replys, my pain is getting harsher and more in synch so im hoping today Ill get to go in.

    A little late here, but -

    I had mine stripped at 38w,2d around 5pm...woke up with STRONG contrax at 1am that night and had my son by 10am. I'd been contracting off and on for a couple weeks before that, but this was the first time they were consistent and intense.

    Sounds to me like you could go today!! Good luck!

    My membranes were stripped on a Tuesday night around 6:30 p.m. and my water broke the next morning at 8 a.m. I had DS Wed. night at 10:10 p.m. It worked for me!

    I had membranes stripped at 0930 and was instructed to do nipple stim until contrax began.  (This was for induction- we needed to avoid pitocin due to my uterus)- I began having reg. contrax about 20 minutes after these things were done (3-5 min apart), and 1 hr after stripping my water broke, and I had LO 15 minutes later. I had gone from 4-5 cm to complete in that 1 hour.

    I have fast labors apparently, and I had PTL for weeks prior.
