Our little Ladies

Just a quick message to say our litle ladies arrived on 12/17/09 at 7:54pm via C-section.  What I thought was a back ache from not sleeping well, was actually labor. 

Our birth story in a nutshell:  I called my doctor and said I had a bad back ache that mostly felt like period cramps.  She advised me to go to the hospital for a check since it was after 5:00pm.  I got to the hospital at 6:00pm, thinking they were going to send me home and laugh at me for overracting.  It turns out my contractions were 2 min apart and they had me in th OR by 7:30.  It was a complete whirwind!

I delivered at 35wks, 6 days.  Harper Grace weighed 4lbs, 14oz, 17" and Reese Marie was 4lbs, 15oz, 181/2."  They are both in the NICU due to blood pressure issues and it breaks my heart to think about going home without them. 

We are so excited and can't wait to bring them home.  I always enjoyed reading these post, so I thought I would share!
