WTH is up w my EWCM?

Sorry about the TMI but seriously WTH..my EWCM sucks! I have been doing my research and am curious about what/and if you ladies take any vitamins or what you use to increase the quality of your EWCM.

Anyone here use that evening primrose oil? Or take extra Vitamin C?Robitussim (that kinda freaks me out)?

My new gynie didn't discuss any of this stuff w/ me! All she did was prescribe prenatal vitamins and said I would be set taking that. I swear I have learned more from you ladies!!!

So what do you ladies use/take?

This last cycle I finally seemed to produce plenty on my own; but the cycles before I tried Mucinex and drinking green tea and it seemed to help!

I drink a ton of water already..still hasn't seemed to do anything. But who knows since this whole TTC thing is new to me. Might just have to take a few more cycles

Are you just coming off BCP?

I think it says in TCOYF that can take a while to start producing it and I know it did for me...I went off birth control back in early July and just last month did I seeme to produce plenty on my own but try the Mucinex if drinking lots of water isn't helping.

Good point Mari! I always have to check inside. Watery feeling can be very fertile also! It doesn't have to be EWCM.

I went off BC at the beg. of November, so I am brand new to this. I ordered TCOYF on amazon...hoping to get it in the mail this week!

It is a great book. It covers a lot of the same info as the FF tutorials though if you have dome those. I like having it to look up specific questions though.

Some women only get watery CM and no egg-white both are considered fertile CM so if are getting watery I wouldn't be considered.

Vitamin C has done wonders for me. I started taking 1 chewable tablet a day because I teach kindergarten and didn't want to be sick all the time. After a few weeks of taking it I noticed having a lot more CM, even my DH noticed. It took me a little while to make the connection but that was what did it for me. I tried green tea, but that didn't seem to help me. I am planning to try Evening of Prim Rose if it doesn't happen this cycle. You just have to be careful to only take it from cycle day 1 until ovulation, it can affect implantation if you take it later.

I went ahead and ordered PreSeed. Lube doesn't freak me out and I want all the help I can get. Big Smile

Even with what I interpret as normal EWCM, I still think the PreSeed will make me feel like I've done all that I can.

sschwege thank you for this info! I will be starting the Vitamin C tomorrow. I work in a dental office, so I am constantly around germs so it can't hurt!
