belly button ring mamas

I got my belly button pierced at a younge age and took it out a few years later. It was prolly out 4 years before I ever got pregnant but it hurt a lot towards the end of my pregnancy when I got really big. I had a small annoying pain near my belly button all day on and off and couldnt figure out what it was. I just realized its right on the spot where the bar would be if I had a ring in. Did anyone else have this? Its like its trying to repair or something but its been there for 7 years and out for 4.

    Yes, and my hole has stretched and turned black - it is so ugly!  I took my belly button ring out like 3 years ago so you wouldn't think it would change so much but ugh gross!

    The place where my belly button ring was is the only place I got any stretch marks!

    Nope.  I left mine in until I was about 20 weeks or so from what I remember because it started hurting.  I put it back in a couple weeks after delivering.  I must be a lucky one.

    I'm a lucky one.. I've taken my belly ring out twice... had it out for a year and a half the first time, and took it out a few weeks after finding out I was prego the second time. For some reason, I've been really lucky with it, and got it back in both times without any problems. Then again, I've always been a really good healer with piercings and tattoos... apparently my tattoo at a week looked the same as someone else's did at a few months.

     This happened to me too!  Mine isn't black but more of a dark brown.  I'm hoping it will fade...it is so ugly.  I didn't get any stretch marks so I guess I have this instead.....I shouldn't complain, I guess.

    I remember having that same weird pain during my first pregnancy. But I don't remember having it at all this time. I took my belly button ring out about a year before I got PG w/ DD1.

    BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08.       BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.
