Anyone have a kindle?

What do you think about it? My mom is giving me one for christmas and I am hoping it is worth the money

    I don't have one, but I've seen tons of people on the subways of NYC with them. I heard they are alot easier to read than a laptop screen, which is good, because I hate reading documents on the computer.

    We got my mom one for x-mas, but I use the app on my iphone.  It's super easy to get books, and I've read more in the last 2 months since getting the phone, than I have all year.  Much easier than lugging around books!

    I got mine in Aug for my bday and love it. The only thing that is annoying is some books are converted for kindle or take a little longer to be released. There are a ton of free books if you go on the Kindle favorites which is where I get most of my books.
