Trip to L&D last night, but all is ok

I had a rough night last night.  My normal BH were getting painful and I was feeling pain and pressure in my whole crotch, but like internally.
I tried to just sleep it off, but I kept waking up every hour or so.
I was also having some pretty intense (gas?) cramps, but I wasn't 100% sure it was just gas.
Anyway I woke DH around 2:30am, called my mom to come over and we went in.
Apparently I was pretty seriously dehydrated.  Which was kind of a shock to me, since I have really been good about drinking water.  They gave me 2 bags of fluids, and since I was still having contractions after those, I got a shot of terb (not fun). I did get 2 internals and my cervix is high and tight (whew) and my FFN test was negative.  Around 9am, I was still contracting some, but they said I could come home.  I'll see my regular OB on Tuesday.
I'm not on official bedrest, but I'm supposed to take it easy and DRINK DRINK DRINK lol

I was so on the fence about going in.  I kept thinking "How silly am I going to feel if its nothing?"  But in the end, everyone was so nice and I feel 100% better, so I'm glad I did!

    Oh gosh, that's rough!  But I'm glad that you're feeling better and that everything came back negative/okay. Definitely take it easy for the next couple of weeks, and drink up!

    So glad it was nothing.  Better safe than sorry, you  hsouldn't feel bad for going in at any time.  Hope they keep cooking for another month!  :)

    Better to go in and have it be nothing than to ignore it and it becomes a problem.
