NBR-easy dessert recipe anyone?

i have a get together with 12 friends next tuesday and we are doing a cookie/dessert/candy exchange instead of giving eachother gifts.

So basically we each make enought of whatever to share with everyone, so cookies-would need 3-5 each person or so. This way we go home with lots of different desserts for x mas! good for me since i have family coming over.

No bake recipes would be great also because not all 12 of us can cook in the oven:)

 thanks!!!

  • icebox cake: no bake, totally tasty, looks pretty.  You just need whipped cream and nabisco chocolate wafer cookies.

  • DH's grandmother makes this awesome "ice cream cake" that everyone loves. Just buy a box of ice cream bars. Layer in the bottom of a cake pan. Cover with whipped cream and some chocolate sauce. Stick in freezer. It's that easy!

    And I love your boxers!

  • You do have to bake these cookies but they are one of my favorites, they are so delicious and easy! You can use sugar cookie dough, but I like peanut butter cookie dough the best.

You get mini Snickers bars (or the bite size ones and cut them in half). Get some peanut butter cookie dough in the tube from Pillsbury. Get just enough dough to cover the Snickers, make it into a ball. Bake like normal using instructions on the cookie dough package. When they come out of the oven, gently pat the cookies down flat-ish with the backside of a fork. Let them cool and dig in!

They are ammmaaazzzing! My mouth is watering right now, for real!

  • I made these last week...

I bought some Candy Cane Oreos (actually, they were the store brand) so they were peppermint, then I bought some Candiquick which you just melt in the microwave. I dipped them in chocolate and decorated with some festive sprinkles! Yum!

  • thanks ladies. Unfortunately the ice cream idea isnt going to work since we are baking/cooking to share with eachother it has to be something that can travel and be seperated into a lot of different bags (there are 12 of us). Cakes and pies wont be very good for sharing, though i totally bookmarked that and plan to make that for me:)
