Her first fat lip :(

DD was coming out of her bedroom and her foot slipped out from under her and she fell.  She must have bit her lip on the way down b/c it was bleeding everywhere and now she has a fat lip on one side. My poor baby :(  And of course I call DH at work to tell him and what is his response? "How come things like that don't ever happen when I'm home they only happen when shes with you." Ummm ok thanks douch bag like I don't feel bad enough. Double :(

    My ds has been doing this a lot lately - cuts his lips about once a day!

    As for your dh - I'm sending him a virtual throat punch for you!

    Poor thing.  DD just got her first nose-bleed last night, I'm sure a first fat lip is not far off.  Seems to be the age of bumps and bruises!

    just wait---she will be w/her daddy one of these days and will get a good scratch, or fat lip--something,  And he will realize that she is just a kid---it all comes full circle.  My DD has had alot of bumps and bruises w/me but just as many w/her daddy.   So don't let him bother you to much--
