Pregnant after a Loss

Pg stages question

I know in the beginning they consider a pg chemical until you hit a certain time. What is that date? Just curious.

Re: Pg stages question

  • I don't think it's based on a time frame, but more of what's there or isn't there.

  • My understanding is that it's not a real, scientifically defined term. It just kind of loosely refers to a pregnancy that is lost not long after a woman would normally get her period... so it shows up on an early test, but would otherwise be mistaken for a slightly late period.
  • Thanks for clearing this up for me. My peri said I still had a chemical pregnancy if I was to have a mc when I talked to him last week, and I was just a little confused as to the term and if he will still consider it that today when he calls. Thanks!
