I think we're starting cereal...

I think we're starting cereal this weekend sometime-maybe even tonight. I wanted to wait until she was officially 6 mos (which is next weekend), but I just dont think BFing is cutting it anymore. She seems starving a lot and has been waking a lot overnight to eat again. Might be a growth spurt too, but I think we're going to give it a shot and see what happens.

    DH started Bri on cereal last weekend.  She didn't poop for 3 days so I stopped giving it to her.  I am going to wait another week or so and go right to fruits.

    There is a 6 month growth spurt BTW

    Nice! And I would add some fruit (pears/apples) soon too - since cereal is kinda blah and not that nutritious. Have fun!

    We kept our stint with rice cereal very short and moved on to oatmeal....and I didn't try bananas until we were on the oatmeal! He pooped every other day on the rice....every day on oatmeal!
