So frustrated....advice?

So, I am on day 39 now and still no AF......and no BFP! I don't want to call my doc though. She always has me do lab work and then at day 35 she wants me to take provera, whether I ovulated or not! Does this seem right to you? I know usually it's test every week until AF or 60 days. This isn't at all what my doc thinks. I'm afraid that it's just not showing yet and if I take provera then I'll shed the lining and send it away. I hope I'm making sense. I am so sick of the negatives!

Would you do the lab work and take provera or wait it out?

    At CD39? No. I wouldnt be calling my dr about it. That seems early to take provera as you may just be a longer cycle girl. Most dont take until until at least day 60..

    Have you thought about charting your temps?  It seems like you'd have a better idea of what's going on.

    I personally would not take Provera yet.  I would also recommend charting for you so that you can see if you ovulate or not, and when without labwork.

    I would wait until 60 days with no AF....maybe you just are having a really long cycle.

    Thanks ladies! I do want to chart. I did all the FF sessions, but I am just waiting until AF comes and start on cd1. Obviously I'm hoping she doesn't come, but if she does I will defintely start! I'm glad you guys agree with me. It makes me feel a little more confident.

    I have this fear, too. It will help when you start temping, then you will know whether or not you have ovulated.
