Great Grandma gift ideas

My grandma is DD's only living great grand parent.  She is 88.  I need an idea on what to get her? We always get her framed pictures.  She has a million, with 9 great grandchildren, too many! Any ideas?

    painted pottery?  Michaels/Jo Anns has stepping stones where you can put their hand/foot print.  Plates they can decorate (BB&B) Michaels has a ton of crafty type mugs and stuff you can make.  Photo book of the year? Calendar?

    Can you give DD an unbreakable ornament and a paint pen and let her go to town? Or have her decorate a mat for the framed photo?

    An afternoon out with you and your DD? I took my grandmother to Adam's Gymboree class one day and then to lunch and she had a blast. Maybe something like that?

    My grandparents and great-grandparents like practical gifts. We've given them a box of assorted greeting cards and stamps, GCs for car washes/haircuts, plants, etc. I always enclose lots of pictures in their cards, and they like that, too.
