...while bfing, what on earth DO you eat? I'm pretty sure DS is dairy intolerant, so I need to cut it from my diet for a few weeks and see if he gets better. My problem is that everything I normally eat is dairy - yogurt, lots of cheese, milk and cereal, ice cream, etc. I want to cry. Please tell me what your diet looks like to give me some ideas of what I should move on to!
Re: If you cut out dairy products...
My DS had MSPI (milk soy protein intolerance) so I had to cut out all dairy and soy. I ate a lot of fruit, vegetables, and meat. Try these websites:

The website above has great recipes.
Also I ordered the following cookbook. It was great because it gave you a list of substitutions and ingredients to avoid. I think I ordered it from Amazon.

Good luck!
My non-dairy diet was very similar. I also ate a lot os pasta with tomato sauce, and kept frozen fruit bars around to substitute for ice cream. Thankfully, DD conquered her intolerance at around 8.5 months.
I'm so sorry. I had dairy issues before pregnancy.
Here's what I eat:
Irish Oatmeal, fruit and Gnu fiber bar in the morning
This may sound nasty but it's really good- I use apple sauce with my favorite cereal (Kellogs Smart Start). I eat it for breakfast or snack sometimes
Fruit for snack (apples usually)
toast or crackers with jam. Treat yourself to really yummi jam. right now I've been using pumpkin butter-so good.
Main meals- whatever you usually eat but without cheese.
sweet treats - so delicious soy ice cream bars. so good even DH eats them
It's very hard for the first 2 weeks and then you won't even notice it's gone.
