I've noticed that many of you have/are taking laptops to the hospital to kill some time. Do your hospitals have wireless internet access? I guess I just never thought that I'd be able to be online in L&D room???
Ours has free wireless, yes. And the nurse of the tour mentioning bringing anything like a laptop or Nintendo DS to pass time.
She even said that a couple had someone go out and buy them a Wii hahaha because things were taking so long and he wanted something to do! A little extreme I think, but she said it was so funny to walk by and see him bowling while his wife laid on the bed with all these tubes in her.

DH and I are both bringing laptops! We have so much out of state family, that it will be nice to upload pictures after she's born and we're settled in... plus, then I can Bump to pass the time!

we have wifi as well at the hospital - I think I'm going to bring my ipod touch but not the laptop. I can always have someone come get the laptop if I really want it.
My hospital has free WiFi too. We don't have a laptop, but plan on bringing our wii. That way I can get online and update people over the wii, and if I get bored I can bowl or play cooking mama! lol
We're bringing a laptop. DH would be bored out of his mind without it.

Free Wifi - same as previous poster, we will both have laptops to pass the time and upload photos. DH probably has to do some work too. I'm thankful, addicted to the internet.
If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
Free WiFi throughout the hospital so I will bring my laptop since I am currently in grad school and my parents will also bring theirs too. SO will just use mine when he needs to.
