Pride and Prejudice. I think I've read it at least 5 times. Also, Enchantress From the Stars. I read it when I was in eighth grade and loved it so much, I bought it in college and have read it three times since then.
I re-read all the time! My re-reads are probably tied between the Harry Potters, the crack-laced Twilight books and the Outlander series.
I have sophisticated taste in literature. I know this.
I have heard about the Outlander series often. First from my mom. Is it really hard to get into? I like a little romance with my Sci-Fi/Fantasy...but not the otherway around. What do you think?

I have a friend who had trouble getting into it, because it was slow for her in the beginning, but after the first two hundred pages, she couldn't put the thing down and has now finished the series. I think you either love it or hate it. It's not super sci-fi or fantasy, other than the time traveling stuff, but it's not like reading a romance novel either. It's definitely a really great story.
The Outlander series if fanfuckingtastic. I can't pin one genre on the series, but I definitely would put sci-fi/fantasy lowest on the list. There is time travel and some folklore, etc., but they play supporting roles rather than underline what they're about.
I re-read books all the time. Jane Eyre, Little Women, and the entire Earth's Children series (Clan of the Cave Bear books ) are my number one re-reads.

Short synopsis of Enchantress?
It's about this young woman/alien who stows away on her father's and fiance's ship and travels to this really young planet. She ends up interacting with people on the planet and antics ensue. It's super interesting and a lot of fun to read, but definitely not a difficult read.

I had the same problem, as do many people. I do know many others, though, who have loved Outlander from the first word. Others don't love the series till the second book.
It's pretty different for everyone, but I'd have to say the majority of people who read the whole book (that I've known) LOVE it. LOVE.

I'm talking serious, book-hugging love.

I also read "The Power of One" and "To the Lighthouse" at least once a year.
DH and I started dating over Shakespeare- we were 2 of 4 with a brain in a class dedicated to his work. DH used to ask me to come over and study with him, and I would go home apologizing for us not getting any studying done. Which was his intention to begin with

I don't think I have ever re-read a book. Hmm, there's several I would like to revisit, though.
I love the Outlander series

They're historic fiction. They're romance. They're adventure. They're drama. They're comedy. They're tragedy.
They're completely awesome. You need to read them.

Jane Eyre is my favorite book of all time!

I've re-read all the Harry Potter books and the Twilight series at least once.
