i hate it when people stay too long

this is not a 'dont they understand what its like to have kids' vent. this is a 'get the F outta my house because you've been here for almost three hours on a work night' vent.

ugh

so my very dear friend whom i love and appreciate to the ends of the earth was just supposed to pop in for a quick visit. but god help me she stayed for almost three hours. even pre-baby she knows that i am not cool with that. i like my quiet time after work. saturday or sunday? come on over. stay for breakfast lunch and dinner. M-F? hour tops.

i am just not the type that enjoys guests in my house very much. plus i am totally being a crab, i can admit this.

in all fairness though, izzy had a blast with her auntie. so i will have to forgive her for stomping all over my hermit-ish ways.

  • Buy the scary head and bring it out and strategically place it where it will give her creept stank eye. She'll leave!

  • I hope she at least brought dinner!

  • LOL i showed her my candy head babies tonight. her reaction: holy shiit. thank you for not giving that to me as a christmas gift. i would have had to throw it at your head.

ugh no! because she was coming from her work xmas party. so she was totally full. i got a nasty azz boiled but now cold hot dog after she left. but i washed it down with chocolate chip cookies. so that something...right?

  • clearly she does not appreciate fine art.
  • Maybe I"m too honest but I'd have asked her to leave.
  • We always have the same problem with one of DH's cousins. She's an awesome person and great to hang out with, but we never invite her over for dinner anymore because she'll literally be here until 2am! It was fun every once in a while before DS was here, but considering the fact that I have trouble keeping my eyes open past 9pm anymore, we try to keep our visits during the day.
