We did cereal at 6 months. We mixed it with bm until it was like some of the more liquidy purees. We fed it with a spoon. I believe cereal is only recommended in a bottle if your LO has reflux and a doc recommends it-a potential choking hazard. Solids in general are recommended to be started at 4-6 months. Good luck!

I started the cereal with LO at almost one month due to lots of reflux but that was recommended by her doctor. I would check with the pediatrician as to what would be the earliest you should start if LO is younger than 4-6months. I feed it to her in a bottle but she has never had any signs of nipple confusion.

We didn't start cereal until he was over 6 months old. We never put it in a bottle. We only spoon fed. I would consult with your doctor first because based on a post earlier by you your little one is around a month old. At this point they do not need anything more than breastmilk. DS was eating every 1.5-2 hours at this age. It continued to every 2-3 hours until he was over 6 months old.
