Hi ladies --
I know there is a nursery board, but I thought I would start here since my challenge is because we're having boy/girl twins and they'll have to be in the same room.
What are all you ladies with b/g twins doing? I'm desperate for ideas!
Thanks!!
Re: Boy/Girl Nursery Ideas...in the same room
We used Cocalo Alphabet Soup decorations- I think it works really good for boys and girls.
I am having the same issues. I am thinking of usign this set from Target

painting the walls a sage green color and making owl and tree decorations for the walls and painting a tree decal over the cribs.
We have the same one....our walls are lt yellow, Eli's name letters are the green color, and Gabi's are the aqua color.
I have Migi Alphabet bedding & valances, espresso furniture & painted the walls a light neutral type color so that I can change up the wall decorations over time. I don't have much on my walls (since you're not supposed to hang stuff over the cribs that could fall & hurt them, that eliminated 1 wall, plus one wall is hte closet & one windows) but I have a shelf around the top of 2 walls (like 2 ft from the ceiling, it is trimmed in molding, hard to describe but looks nice) and I put 8x10 alphabet cards of the whole alphabet on the shelf.
GL! I struggled with this as well.
we did Carter's "elephant stitch" bedding in choc. brown blue & choc. brown pink, with all white furniture, neutral walls and chocolate brown window shadow. We added multi-stripe lamp and I am ordering wall canvas' with their names on them in choc brown and blue/pink. It looks super cute and not overly boy or girl at all!
Here is a pic of the bedding in green - ours our blue and pink
I am working on baby B and baby M's nursery now. Sadly, they will be sharing a room with DS (2 rooms upstairs and one down but can't put anyone down...) DS's side is red and blue with Cars theme and babies side is chocolate brown and baby blue and pastel pink! It sounds like a lot but b/c we are not really painting, just decorating, it looks really nice so far!
Good Luck girls!
We did Dr. Seuss - it is bright and cheerful and I absolutely love it. The bedding is from Pottery Barn Kids.
