s/o birth control post for mirena users

Someone mentioned that their DH feels it. Is this common? Does your DH feel it? Every time or sometimes? Like a little bit uncomfortable or like 'pine needles' (ouch!)?

    I don't think my DH ever noticed it in the 5 years I had it. I think that if you have problems with it, the dr can snip the strings down some.

    DH felt it on and off for about the first year.  My doctor had explained that it has to do with how short the strings are cut and to leave them a little long is actually better.  I'd say it hurt him like a pin pr!ck, but it didn't keep him from doing the deed....just had to change positions.

    DH only feels it every once in awhile.  He never says it really hurts that much and ditto Kristen, it doesn't keep him from participating.  :)
