Well i found out at my NT screening which was at 11 weeks and some change. I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and only saw one heart beat and one baby, so you can imagine my surprise when the radiologist told me she was measuring "baby A".
At 5 weeks we thought there was 2, at 6 weeks we found out there was 3. Only reason we had scans that early was because we were going through fertility treatments- Not sure a 'normal pregnancy' MD would see pateints that early.
8w4d - I asked for an ultrasound because I was feeling especially big and suspected that I might have been further along than I thought. Otherwise we would not have known until 18+ weeks. I can't even imagine...
Re: at which appt
My husband and I found out at 8 weeks so it was our first appointment but i'm not sure if you can find out before.
