My boys are a little over 3 months, but during the day they nap it seems like a lot (1-2 hours) after each feeding and they eat at every 3 or 4 hours, I know babies sleep a lot, just wondering if I'm doing everything ok-just wondering if your babies sleep as much as mine...it doesn't affect their night time as they STTN (10pm to 7-8 am).
They usually wake prior to their next feeding and if they don't I wake them up, these are my first babies so I'm not sure at what age their suppose to be more awake- I have no complaints as I get to do my house cleaning!
 TIA
Re: Long naps?
By the way, congrats on your twins- I'm not sure if I commented on your post or not? How are you adjusting?
Thanks for your reply it gives me an idea
hhaha. I love when moms complain about babies sleeping too much :0) You do know that your post will make others fume, huh? j/k
my boys slept the same way at 3mo. They still do- just shorter naps- but they do nap for 1/2 hour to 3 hours inbetween every bottle -- between their 1pm and 4pm bottle is usually a long nap- the other time spans it's much shorter- and they do STTN from about 8pm-7am.
your guys are fine! They are more than fine- they are good sleepers- and that's about the best thing -esp with twins
Funny :P
Thanks for your reply- glad that it's a "normal" pattern
At this age in general babies sleep about 15-16 hours in a 24 hour period, so your guys sound find. At this age my girls were STTN from 7PM-7AM and taking 3 naps a day usually about an hour each napping period, getting about a total of 15 hours of sleep. They are now 17 months old and are still getting 12 hours at night and about 2 to 2 1/2 hours for their afternoon nap.
It is good that they are sleeping this well so young because they will probably continue this trend as they get older.
Congrats on your babies.
I hope and pray our kids are like yours. I am a total insomniac, pregnant or not, and am terrified that one of both of these babies is going to be sleep challenged. My hubby however falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow. I keep rubbing my belly and asking/begging them to PLEASE take after daddy in the sleep dept.
