Has anyone been? How did you like it? (daveshell - I read your blog about it and your pictures are awesome!) I know it's 9 degrees in there, so we will wear appropriate clothing Any other tips?
What about parking? Do you have to pay for parking?

I believe you get complimentary self-parking included with the ticket price. We haven't been this year but have in the past and it's VERY cold!
Oh! That's good to know! I have heard it's 9 degrees in there. I took the opportunity to buy some new mittens for T, gloves and a hat for me, and I'm busting out one of her Christmas hats. I NEED them, right?

Gloves and a hat definitely for kids. I didn't have a hat and it was fine. I also didn't use my mittens because I was the picture taker as usual. It was lots of fun. They really only have jackets for kids, so I'd bring a heavy jacket for little ones. You can also bring a stroller through if you'd like ( I did). Hope that helps. If you have any specific questions let me know.

I bought some of those fun gloves where the finger tips aren't covered, then you can cover them up with the mitten part, when not taking pictures. See? totally functional, and necessary, right? I'm so excited, I hope the girls love it. Your pics are great!

My DH and I tried going this past weekend and we weren't even able to get tickets. We got to the Gaylord around 4pm and tickets were sold out till the 8:30 show. The line was INSANE!! Everyone's children were so cranky from having to wait. If you plan on going during the weekend, I would highly suggest buying tickets online in advance.
Also, parking is included in the price of the ticket, they just have to validate it. The line to get into the parking garage was crazy as well. It took about 30-45 mins to get in the parking garage. We are really sad we missed it, but I just wasn't expecting all the craziness. Everyone I spoke to that had gone in recent years said they didn't have to wait long at all. Who knows?? We plan on trying next year.

Thanks for the info. We are thinking of trying to go this year and will probably be buying tickets online.
If you go to the Ice website and pay online, use code "corpcon" then select the vendor/concierge ticket you can get in for $15 (vs $20). I found this out after I had already purchased mine, but it worked for Gigi.
