My mom and DH, plus medical staff..... I don't mind interns or students observing, but I am not so sure about them participating on the important stuff. But I was just a teaching intern and people had to take chances on me... not quite the same thing though. My grandmother also wants to be in the room, but I will never be able to handle that. She is way to high strung and a real control freak. It would be just my DH, but my mom is #1 my mom and #2 a nurse. So, it makes me feel a lot more comfortable to know that she will be there.

no one else. I love my mom and my MIL but i'm so glad they are having to travel in from NC to see LO after she is born. I want a calm, quiet birth experience and I know both mothers would just be excited and talky talky which I don't want.
DH and my sister are my coaches (they were there for dd's birth too). My mom has been invited to be a fly on the wall.....talk to me and you'll be asked to leave! She's a nurse, so it's hard for her not to chime in with her 2 cents, so we've instructed her if she'd like to see her grandchild come into the world, she can, but she's not allowed to speak - just stand against the wall and watch. I know it sounds harsh, and I LOVE my mom to death, but she's one of those people who don't seem to really "help" in a stressful situation (at least not for me and my sister). And since this is likely her last grandchild, we thought we'd invite her (she hasn't been invited for any of the others).
Medical staff and DH if I have a vaginal birth or mom if I end up having a c-section. DH does not do well when it comes to blood and incisions!
TTC Since March 2007 with PCOS & chromosomal translocation:
M/C #1 January 22, 2008 at 4.5 weeks;
M/C #2 Missed M/C - Natural M/C May 31, 2008 at 13 weeks;
5/2/09 - IUI - (Clomid with trigger injection also on Metformin and Progesterone) - BFP - 5/12/09 - Twins - lost Baby B at 9 weeks;
7/20/09 - Amnio;
1/10/10 - Gwendolyn Clarice born at 38 weeks 1 day - 5lbs 14oz and 19 inches long
DH, hospital staff that needs to be in there, and my mom if she can fly up in time! That's it! My hospital has a two visitor rule anyway so it wasn't an issue for us.
Re: Whos all in delivery room?
DH and my Mom
EDD: 03/01/13; DD: 10/26/13
Mourning the loss of Amarine Stella, born at 21 weeks, 6 days.
We will always love you, our little angel.
We only get two "at a time." So, you can have thirty people but only two in the room at any given time.
So, DH will be a permanent fixture and filtering in and out will be... My Mom, my brother and sister-in-law and my Mother-in-Law.
