so i survived!!!

as some of you know already today is the official start of me doing this on my own and shortly after my last post saying how wonderful i was doing all hell broke loose!!!! in my infinate wisdom i decided on my own to change the babies and try to get pics of them in front of the tree... am i am ass!!!???

well i obviously didnt use my brain b/c i woke them 1 hour before it was time to eat.  by the time i got them in thier outfits DS was in hysterics and DD was on the verge.  DS got so upset he spit up on his shirt.  so i decided to feed them 30 min early.. what is 30 min when you have 2 SCREAMING babies!!! they fed and i thought for certain they would just fall asleep during the feeding as always and i could just slip them in front of the tree PIECE OF CAKE!!! yeah nope! they were both wide awake and pissed off.  i changed how i was going to take the pics and somehow got some cute shots of them in the bouncy seats... thats when really all hell broke loose! DS screamed so bad that he peed all up the front of himself some how and DD let out her ear piercing scream.

I sat there at one point staring at them screaming in thier seats wondering how do you rock 2 SCREAMING babies to sleep at the same time?  i decided to regroup and went in the kitchen cried for 2 seconds while i fed the dogs and went back into the den where the LOs were. 

well long story short they are now asleep and i pray stay that way for a little bit i am exhausted!!!

    You survived and that is what matters. If it makes you feel better we took 185 pictures of our little ones to get the perfect picture.

    It is hard taking care of two little ones.

    you're doing great! Just knowing that you need to leave the room to cry and regroup is a huge thing- so many moms won't do that b/c they don't want to let their babies cry at all - but sometime they have to- and so do you :)  You can take care of them better if you walk away and regroup - you are doing awesome!

    and yeah- we took a few hundred photos to get one good one, too :)
