Childcare in Beaverton/SW downtown

My little lady is schedule to make her appearance in about a week and a half and the hubby and I are starting to look more closely at daycare options for after I go back to work. We would love a live out nanny or another SAH mom ... but aren't really sure where to look for those things.  Thought I would post here for any ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated! TIA

    We take DD to Bee Bop's little house (www.beebopslittlehouse.com). She loves it there! Debbie is awesome and her daughter Merissa has a second location on Murray near 26. She has years of child care experience too. They have very reasonable prices.

    We're looking for Childcare come April... So I checked out their site.. Perfect location and size.. but what in the world is with people closing at 5:30pm? :(

    I live in NW portland, I am a stay at home mommy and after the holiday season I am looking to take on a kid in my care!!  By this time we will live in Beaverton, bordering Portland!! =) Also if you are looking for a daycare setting my friend runs a daycare and I can pass along her website.

    I don't know why they close at 5:30. It has worked fine for us so far. DH usually starts his work early so he can pick her up in the pm and I drop her off in the am. I'm sure it's negotiable though. I know Merissa has kids until 6:30 on some nights.

     Its not just them.. it's a LOT of centers close so early!  There are a lot of great places by our house, by they close between 5 and 6pm, and it's really hard to get from downtown to west Beaverton by 6.. :(
