We spent about $35. I wanted to spend so much more but had a huge unexpected expense come up. I'm going crazy because I haven't been able to buy her clothes in a couple weeks!

L is about ready to change sizes so we needed to get a bunch of 12-18mo stuff which is why we spent so much on clothes

Christmas specifically about $40. (But this month I also got him about $50 worth of clothing in the next size that I'm not bothering to call a christmas gift).
Around $60 on Christmas, about $90 on her birthday (12/31). I am scared to think about how much stuff she's going to get from grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.
Oh boy- I spent $350+ on toys and clothes- and DH bought LO his first train which was $300. So a total of over $600. And DH still wanted to spend more and get him his first sled which was $200 and I said wait till next year. Craziness.
Uh let's just say Grant is one spoiled kid and many items will be going up and brought out at a later date for birthday or as they are developmentally appropriate.
We bought a lot of stuff we planned to anyway or that he 'needed' - we also ended up buying a lot because of the 50% of target sale.
I think we have spent about 600-800 (would have been 1000 had it not been for target and their sale lol).
I spent under $100 total. I spend money on them all year round, and there is nothing my children could need or want. They got some puzzles and books. Of course, they're getting craploads from the grandparents of the fun stuff for their homes, so they have dolls and cars and such to open.
$0 so far. I just buy her what she needs. I don't see the point in her opening gifts this year other than for the purpose of photos/memories. We used grammy's gifts for that purpose. I'll probably buy a few toys, but won't wrap them.

We spent about 100-125 on toys (not exactly sure, he got a lot of small things) and 100 on clothes. We decided to take it easy this year - he'll be spoiled enough by his grandparents (he is the only grandchild on both sides and they practically shower him with gifts). He is already getting a big ticket item from each set of grandparents, in addition to smaller toys and clothes... we probably could have gotten away with getting him nothing at all!
Re: lets cut to the chase: how much did you spend on LO for xmas?
my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks

For future reference you should never start buying clearance items for LO in August.

LMAO.
Why don't you just ask what disposeable cash people have or what they choose to charge....or what of each they decide to spend on their LO's?
on my boys we spent approximately 100.00 total.
On my DD - who is almost 3 - we spent about 200.00. But we bought a lot of educational toys - like flash cards etc... So we are totally okay with it.
