Pregnant after a Loss
Update on me and our baby!
So...It's definitely still a boy! YAY! My blood pressure has been high my last two appointments and today was even higher! So as of right now they aren't concerned but if it's high next apt. they are going to do further testing! Anthony's heartbeat was 154...like every ultrasound before! Strong hearbeat for such a little man! : ) OB checked my cervix, still tightly closed and thick! So that's good news...because of all my previous pregnancy issues.
I also went to my cardiologist appointment. My OB sent me there because of heart flutters. They hooked me up for an EKG...Normal! They hooked me up for a 24hr monitor....it showed I skipped 3 heartbeats. They also did a echocardiogram on my heart. It showed I have a prolapsed vein in my heart....or one of my veins is buckling. So they are going to monitor me throughout my pregnancy. Any issues I'm to call right away. They didn't express that it was life threatening or anything....they told me to relax and enjoy my pregnancy. Let them do the monitoring! So i'm trusting my doctors.
I miss you ladies...and when I get my new computer in January...I'll be on more! OH! And some dates that are coming up that are exciting. My 4D ultrasound on February 4th, My Baby Shower, February 6th & the same day in the morning is my Maternity Photos. Just some things to look forward to! Miss you ladies..talk to you soon!
