Babies: 9 - 12 Months

I was clueless about extended rear facing.

I truly had no clue about the extended rear facing benefits until a few days ago..I read some posts on here and then did some research of my own and am soooo grateful for the bump and a few posters who are very informed on this topic. I probably would have turned DD forward facing at one year and now I realize this is not the safest option..so i can't remember the posters off the top of my head, but just want to say thanks for being so informative !

  • Me too! I'm really grateful to all of you who are so knowledgeable on car seat safety. I would have turned her around at a year too-I've never heard of anything different!

  • Me too!  After watching those videos, I think one was joelsjourney, it's hard to think someone would not want to rear face after seeing that video.  It totally opened up my eyes.
  • That's great! Not sure who you got the info from, but the more who spread it, the more it will become common knowledge :)  If my "annoying, over the top, preachy and fanatical" siggy on car seat safety helps just one person, then it's worth it.
  • you know, if I could sit rear-facing myself, I would !  But it's kinda hard to drive that way. Stick out tongue  The point being, we'd all be safer sitting rear-facing.  So glad you did your research!! Big Smile
