Disclaimer that this is coming from someone who has never breastfed, but my friend lent me a book called "So Thats What They're For!" and I've enjoyed it. Its infromative but also humorous. I will say that its pretty strong on the exclusive BF approach from what I remember, so you obviously have to think about what you are hoping to do.

I enjoyed "So that's what they're for" as well...funny as well as informative.
Ina May Gaskin's "guide to breast-feeding" is also great (anything by her is).
