I've never had one, but found one I like. I always change my mind about them because it seems like the comforter will just float around in there. Do they stay put, or is my fear correct?
I have a duvet cover on. I was worried about that too, but ours doesn't shift that much. It's kind of a pain to place when I wash it, but not bad otherwise.
Yup, we have one and DD has one. For ours, I safety pin the corners to the comforter. For hers, I saw an item at Bed, Bath and Beyond that essentially plastic clips the duvet cover to the comforter inside but I have yet to get around to buying them. It is nice to be able to wash it as necessary:)

Ours doesn't float around too much. They are a pain to put back on after washing (we have a king sized bed, so it's huge and heavy), but I love it. We get them at Ikea because they're much cheaper. I've already got DD's duvet for when she gets her big bed!

Re: Anyone have a duvet cover?
I used to have one, but only had a small problem with the floating. my bigger problem was how hot it made us, so I went back to a regular comforter.
