I am in a cohort with another teacher in my building as we work towards our graduate degree. She is also TTC, but she has clearly not done her research (or visited the bump!) I was so excited to get to tell her that everyone's cycle is different (rarely such thing as the perfect 28 day cycle), pre-seed, fertility friend, and of course, thebump! She was shocked that there were only a limited # of days per cycle that one could actually conceive. ( I don't think she believed me - she's probably googling it right now. Ha.)
She's definitely thinking about trying out this board (I'll have to tell her to lurk for awhile). It was fun transferring the some of knowledge these boards have given me to someone else! ![]()
Re: Sex Ed. 101
We are working on our Master's degree through the same college. We meet weekly to discuss and complete assignments together. Cohorts are small groups that meet outside of the classroom (distance learning) to complete a course or degree.
Sometimes we get off track, like today, and end up discussing our TTC efforts! Whoops.
Oh, okay - so it is a kind of group. Where are you working on your Masters?
Yeah, it's amazing that some people have no idea how their body works. One of my friends just thinks you have to have unprotected sex any time during your cycle.
Of course, she was one of the ones that got KU her first cycle of BC.
Marygrove - it's online out of Detroit. The online Masters program is really convenient for full time teachers. I see you are from Cleveland. My husband is from out that way. We live in the Columbus area right now.
Nice, I have never done an online program like that, but it would be so convenient. I would like to get a second Masters degree once I pay off the first one, but who knows if I can do that if we have kids in the next couple years. I lived in Columbus for awhile, on campus at OSU and after I graduated in Grandview.
