Need some help: what to wear? PIPs

Hey chicks!

My concert for school is tomorrow night. My boss and staff know I am pg, a few of the parents know (the ones I am friends with), none of the students have said anything to me yet so I haven't like "made an announcement".

I'm faced with this dilemma- what to wear?

I have a black non-maternity sweater dress that is super cute from the front but shows my little baby belly from the side. I'm heavier to begin with, and if I wasn't pg, I probably wouldn't wear it, but my belly is for sure rounder and more protruding than just my normal post baby-belly.

I have a flowy gauzy kind of printed maternity dress, cute, but totally is a "she could be pg but she could just have had too many Xmas cookies".

I feel like I should wear solid black and that the black dress is better as far as performing is concerned- but I don't want the place to be like "is she or isn't she?" However, I also might just need to get over myself because they probably won't even notice. (right?) The printed one hides the belly more.

Normally I'd say don't wear something that makes you look pregnant, but since since you *are* pregnant, you should wear whichever one you like better. I'm voting black, since gauze in December wouldn't be my first choice.

ETA -- just saw the pic. I like the black one. Super cute.

lolz -Those pictures are HUGE! You look so super cute in that black dress but kinda PG... I dunno, who really cares, right? From the front they won't notice and from the side... well just keep movin' and they won't notice.

Yeah, I think you're right. The gauzy one is black and blue though, layered... it's wintery colors, I wore it to DH's xmas party and it didn't seem out of season.

I like the black! And you can always employ the strategy I used while PG at work but before I told anyone - just hunch over and run when passing people. Worked like a charm.

Aww, you look SO cute!! I like both...the black is really flattering with the baby bump though. LOVE it. You definitley look pregnant. Be prepared, for the cat is definitely out of the bag this week
