Can I AW some more potty progress?

Charlie will pee almost every time I get him to sit on the potty. He even went twice at a Melanie's house yesterday and once at a friend's house today- on the regular toilet with no special seat (I had to hold him so he didn't fall in). And one of the times yesterday he TOLD ME he had to go! I was in total shock.
He kept his diaper dry for 3.5 hours this evening (used the potty once in that time) and then I changed him for bed.
He still hasn't gone at daycare. He'll sit on the potty there, but no dice. And no luck with pooping yet, although he does think its hysterical to fart on the potty!
I'm just so proud of him

And I must admit, I have no clue what to do next. He's terrified to wear underwear (he's afraid of getting them wet lol) and I really don't want to push him because he's still so young. I think I'll just try to remember to have him use it more often, maybe set a timer for myself?

I really wouldn't push him either. He'll let you know when he's ready for undies. That's so awesome that he's making progress and doing well! If he wants to try not wearing a diaper, but doesn't want to move to undies just yet, you could always let him run around without a diaper and just let him wear some pajama pants or some other soft, cloth pants around for awhile.

fwiw....the kiddo I watch wears his undies backwards. a LOT of the boy undies only have the print on the back, he can't see it so he likes to wear them backwards! lol when you do get some/some more.....make sure the print is all over!

My mom put us on the toilet backwards (facing the tank) we were more stable and it would work best for urination.

I am glad that he is making some good progress.

He has some Thomas undies, but he refuses to wear them! He says "No get them wet!" so I'm assuming he's afraid to have an accident in them (even though I told him its perfectly fine if accidents happen)

I may go out & buy some less exciting ones. Or make some training pants
