Hi Ladies,
I'm scheduled for weekly cervical length checks starting this Thurs.  I know that my office does trans-vaginal u/s until the 13th week, but I'm wondering if they will be able to measure my cervix via an abdominal u/s, or if I'll have to have both?

Re: ? About Cervical Length U/S
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
They checked my cervix via trans-vaginal u/s up until I hit 30 weeks and then had my regular abdominal u/s to check the babies afterwards. They are doing biophysical profiling now and don't seem concerned at all about the cervical length. I am not sure that if that is common or not though.

My cervix checks have been every 2 weeks since 16 weeks and they're always transvaginal. They check it 3 times; 1 regular, 1 w/ them pushing on my lower belly and 1 w/ them pushing on my higher belly.
I also go for growth checks every 4 weeks and they do a "regular" u/s in addition to the transvaginal ones those days.
