My OB said he was 99% sure--then went back for a second look and
said he was 100% sure. He wouldn't just say that, right? I'm skeered
to buy my bedding... Does this look like a hamburger to you?
And here's baby girl's profile. What a looker, lol.

How did you convince your doc to do an u/s then? Ours is not till 20 weeks unless they think something is wrong. I have known people to get an early u/s in my practice by sweet talking the doctor! I'm hoping to talk mine into it at my 16 weeks appointment (I'll be closer to 17 weeks).

Well, I know my OB pretty well since he delivered DS. But...in reality, you're paying for it so they shouldn't really say no, kwim? Also--I only see my family 1-2 times a year, and really wanted to be able to share the news in person. He understood.

Thats exactly how my baby girl looked when I saw her yesterday on the u/s screen!! Congrats!!
I had my big u/s at 18 weeks, and that is just how my OB schedules them. I think most are done between 18-20 weeks anyhow. I had a second u/s yesterday to look directly at the babies heart...the hubby had a congenital heart defect, so they screen our babies carefully!! She has a beatuifully normal heart!!
