Since it seems to be the topic of day- Dr appt today

in 2nd Trimester
Had my checkup today and u/s is scheduled for Thursday! I finally convinced DH to let me find out the sex so Im even more excited. Only bad part of the day was getting my blood taken again to check my thyroid. The nurse goes right for my hand every time because my veins suck. Not sure what she did but my hand hurts like hell and bruised instantly. Hopefully though everything comes back ok again on my thyroid.

    I feel your pain, literally.  I do bi-weekly blood tests for my low thyroid.  If you do need to substitute thyroid it's not so bad.  Just the constant changes of medication, (every two weeks it changes to a different dosage, so annoying!)  But the good news is you get to find out the sex, very excited for you.  I find out next Wednesday.

    Is your thyroid low because of pregnancy? I have graves disease and am on synthroid and they haven't changed it once. I only get it checked every 5 weeks though.
