Goodness, I never felt uncomfortable during my singleton pregnancies! I would get swollen feet toward the end if I did too much, but I never had the hip/pelvic pain and cramping from the stretching uterus. Both of my singletons were 9 lb. babies, but I still don't remember feeling hardly any discomfort with them.
This time I started getting the really bad pelvic pain in the late 20's (weeks). That's when it started getting hard to lift my legs to get dressed. A few weeks later it started getting very uncomfortable to roll over in bed. Now walking is a chore, my hubby has to put on my socks and shoes, it's basically difficult to do anything at all : )
I actually *knock on wood* still feel pretty good. But size-wise I'm now measuring at 41w. I only ever got to 38w5d w/ my singleton, so I'm officially now bigger than I was then.
Comfort-wise I had it pretty easy that time too, but w/ the sleep issues and waddle-effect while walking, I'd say that happened around 30/31 weeks this time around.
For me it's is so different this time around. This has been a breeze so far. I'm just starting to feel more uncomfortable. I hardly had any m/s this time. It really is so different.
This pregnancy has been like night and day compared to my singleton.
WIth my Son, I felt great the whole pg. I worked (quite actively) up until 3 days before my C/S at 39 weeks. And was still able to come home, clean the apartment, cook dinner, etc. I was out shopping the whole day before my C/S.
This time around, starting at about 28 weeks I have been feeling much more uncomfy than I ever was with my son. And this week has been pretty bad. I can't get comfy to sleep, I don't have a job this time around and I'm exhausted by like 5 pm. And as of yesterday, the swelling has set in I think by next month, I will be DONE.
I am already WAY bigger than I ever got with my son.
But on the other hand, I am LOVING all the extra kicks and movement and my nice round belly
My singleton pregnancies were suoer easy compared to my twin pregnancy!! I don't even know where to begin to compare them!!! But, I agree with pp that the real discomfort started around 28 weeks. I also got really swollen with the twins, and that did not go away until 3 weeks post partum. And, it was just a whole lot more pelvic pressure! But, it's all worth it!!
Mom to Megan(5), Bridget(4), Tessa and Annie (2) and Mary (brand new)
hmm....once i was 30+ weeks with the twins I was pretty bad. with my singleton pg i could push through the uncomfortableness and still function. the twins were so much harder

As everyone else has said, this pregnancy has been so SO different than it was when I was pg with DS! During that pg I felt great the entire time and was active and energetic until I delivered him at 38 weeks, 5 days.
This time I had bad morning sickness until 16-17 weeks, had a brief respite in the second trimester, and then started having some issues right around 26-27 weeks. Right around then I was having a lot of BH contractions and experiencing cervical shortening, so I started to have to take it easy. I actually felt better from weeks 28-32, but starting last week (33 weeks) i noticed a swift decline in my comfort level. I'm pretty uncomfortable all around now and am having a difficult time sleeping at night, moving from one position to another, etc. I am motivated to keep these LOs in for at least another 2 weeks, but wow... I'm so ready to be DONE.
I guess I've been thinking a lot about whether I would ever want to do this again (be pg) and it makes me feel so much better that if the next time is just one it will be easier.

I'm still very early on but already this pregnancy far exceeds anything I remember from last time. I am having much worse morning (all day) sickness this time and by 6 pm every day I feel like it's bedtime. I'm so worried that by the time I feel better and feel like I can do things (set up the nursery, go through old boxes of DD's stuff, etc) that I will be too big to do it!
